VSP In-coming Scholarships

During the 2nd Meeting of the Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group in Budapest on December 16, 2003 the Conference decided upon the creation of the Visegrad In- coming Scholarship Programme.

The In-coming Visegrad Scholarship is a specific scholarship within Visegrad Scholarship Programme (VSP) created for the purpose of facilitating academic exchanges by providing financial support for outstanding master degree (or equivalent) holder being citizens of non-EU countries neighbouring to the Visegrad- countries, who wish to have study period in the Member States of the Contracting Parties of the Agreement Concerning the Establishment of the International Visegrad Fund.

In the academic year 2004/2005, the programme will give opportunity to 8 scholars from the Belarus, Croatia, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia and Montenegro and Ukraine for study/research projects at the public universities within the V4 countries, in the priority branches covering the studies on Central Europe. The scholar will be awarded of 5.000 EUR and IVF will also support the hosting university with the Lump Sum of 3.000 EUR. The deadline for the Visegrad In-coming Scholarships for the academic year 2004/2005 will be February 29, 2004.
